The most important criteria for obtaining an admission for a Bachelor study in Germany is a high school degree, which was sucessfully finished with the grade “good”. If your high school degree is rated lower than this grade, German universities give you the possibility to complete a preparatory course, i.e. “Studienkolleg”, in order to qualify for any study.
Another important criteria is language requirements, as most of German state universities teach their Bachelor degrees in German language. You can find English bachelor degrees in private universities, but there are high study fees. In order to start your studies directly, all the German universities ask for DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang). In case you don’t have DSH already, you can apply for a German language preparatory course in the university or private language institutes,i.e. “studienvorbereitender Sprachkurs”. Therefor, see our page “Language Courses“.
If you fulfill the abovementioned criteria, our team can assist you directly in finding the best and most suitable universities.
